Description

Decode and Prepare for the Complex MPFS, QPP & Medicare Part B Revisions to Protect Your Lab’s Revenue

On July 12, 2018, the proposed Medicare Physician Fee Schedule for 2019 was released by the CMS. The proposed rules will revise the current rates and policies pertaining to Medicare physicians and other Medicare professionals. It will also bring changes to Medicare Part B rates and policies and the Quality Payment Program (QPP) which implements the Merit-Based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) and Alternative Payment Models (APMs). This is the first year CMS has included updates to the QPP in the proposed fee schedule.
